I don't understand
I downloaded the most recent VBA.
It said in the requirements that it could be windows 2000 to vista.
I have an XP. when I tried to open it, it said,
"This application has failed to start because d3dx9_41.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
I tried it.
PLEASE HELP ME!!! Sad

RE: I don't understand
You dont need the whole runtime. That specific DLL can suffice. You can download it from here:

Having the latest runtime installed is considered nicer than storing the required DLLs in the same folder as the vbam executable.
For portability, keep the DLLs inside the VBA-M folder. This way, it wont nag you again about it if you move the folder around, like to use it on another computer where the latest runtimes might not have been installed.

RE: I don't understand
No, link removed because individually installing DX dll's is not the smartest of idea's. Some of them have dependendancy on other files contained in the setup, and VBA requires xaudio and updated managed dx files.
